I qualified as a teacher in 1995, and began my career in a large Junior School in Swindon.

In 2001, I decided to further my career within the Special Education Sector and joined the team at Rowdeford School. I came to the school for a visit and loved it so much I never left! I have been part of the Middle Leadership team for many years, and have been the SENCO for over 10 years.

Being part of Silverwood Senior Leadership Team is a privilege and I am keen to help co-ordinate provision, to create innovative packages of support and ensure the best outcomes for all pupils. There is a never a day that goes by, where I am not blown away with the resilience, determination and tenacity of our pupils and they really do deserve the very best.

My husband is a Head teacher and we love to enjoy family holidays back in Devon where we both trained as teachers. We love taking our three teenage children on holiday to enjoy some family time, and usually a cream tea or two!
