Emma Rossiter
Head of Silverwood Consultancy

I am a keynote speaker, trainer, coach and senior leader with over 20 years’ experience working across mainstream, specialist, and multi-agency settings. I am driven by a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and able to thrive. I contribute to creating learning and working environments where everyone belongs and has the opportunity to achieve their best.
In my role as Head of SEND Consultancy at Silverwood, I work with educators and leaders to develop clear and purposeful visions, build values-based cultures, strengthen strategy, and embed inclusive, relationship-centred practice that leads to sustainable improvement. I deliver keynotes, leadership development, staff training and 1:1 coaching that give people the confidence and practical tools to create meaningful change.
Alongside my work in education, I also lead training in workplaces in understanding and meeting the needs of people with neurodiversity and those with special educational needs. Together we build communities where difference is understood, barriers are removed, and people can flourish as their authentic selves.
With an increasing complexity of needs in all settings, I am passionate about translating specialist approaches into mainstream environments so that provision and outcomes are strengthened for everyone.

Mike Loveridge
Director of Learning

I am fueled by a strong belief in education for all. As educators, I believe we bear the responsibility of cultivating a happy, safe, and calm environment where young minds can surpass their own expectations.
With over 30 years of teaching experience in Maths, ICT, and PE, I am deeply committed to the power and value of high-quality teaching and learning. Throughout my 20 years at Senior Leadership level, I've gained extensive knowledge across diverse settings, including special, mainstream, and residential education (from ages 4 to 19.)
At Silverwood, I bring a wealth of experience across the strategic aspects of managing a busy special school, covering quality of education, curriculum development, professional growth, timetabling, staffing, teaching, learning, and progress monitoring.
As both a qualified coach and mentor, I offer the perfect blend of supervision, mentoring, and coaching in specialist and mainstream educational settings.

Having been immersed in the education sector since 2001, I bring a diverse skill set as a Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, and Chief Executive of a Multi-Academy Trust. My leadership experience extends across secondary, primary, and special schools, providing me with a holistic perspective on education.
Being a registered Ofsted Inspector for seven years has further honed my understanding of effective school practices. My dedication to professional growth led me to pursue a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation, equipping me with valuable insights into fostering excellence.
One of my greatest passions lies in developing leaders and elevating outcomes for all pupils. As a coach for school leaders in both mainstream and special needs sectors, I am committed to empowering educators at all levels.

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and representative for SEND schools on the Local Authority Safeguarding Committee, I am deeply committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and holistic development of all learners.
I have extensive operational expertise, including SIMS timetabling, attendance management, and safeguarding systems. As a qualified Team Teach trainer, I deliver Positive Handling training to local authority maintained schools, and as a Thrive practitioner, I have led the successful implementation of relational and trauma-informed practices — transforming behaviour management from a consequence-based to a relational inclusion model.
My core strength lies in leading and managing change. I have successfully introduced new initiatives such as a revised school uniform, a vertical tutoring structure, a multi-campus safeguarding recording system, and a new Single Central Record. I thrive on building systems, culture, and practice that support positive change and sustainable improvement.
