PE and Sports Premium

The Primary Physical Education (PE) and Sport Premium is a government initiative that
provides additional funding to schools to enhance PE and sport provision. This funding aims
to improve the health and well-being of pupils by encouraging physical activity and
promoting healthy lifestyles.
The premium is intended to improve the quality of PE and sport provision, including:

• Encouraging regular physical activity. 

• Raising the profile of PE and sport within the school. 

• Supporting staff training in PE and sport. 

• Expanding the range of sports and activities offered to pupils. 

• Increasing participation in competitive sport
