Staff Wellbeing at Sillverwood

Silverwood School is committed to promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff. Our approach is guided by our Staff Wellbeing Policy and our vision that Silverwood should be a place where we can be ourselves, feel and perform at our best, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our pupils.

Our wellbeing mission is to create an inclusive culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging to our community. By embedding wellbeing into everyday working practices and supporting one another, we aim to ensure that staff are able to thrive both professionally and personally.

  • Stress risk assessments in line with Health and Safety Executive guidance.

  • Debrief opportunities following challenging incidents.

Employee Assistance Programme (Confidential Support)

Silverwood School subscribes to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This provides access to professional advice and counselling for issues including mental health, financial concerns, legal advice, family matters and workplace stress. https://www.educationsupport.org.uk/
