After leaving university, I spent some time working in a special school in Bristol and from the moment I walked through the door, I knew it was the career for me! I completed my final teaching practice in a special school and began my teaching career in Bristol. I have always worked in the specialist sector and have taught across all key stages. I have experience of teaching in schools for children with severe and complex needs, as well as social, emotional and mental health needs, and have learned so much from every child I have worked with. I enjoy identifying barriers to learning and finding different ways to remove them, working in partnerships with families.

I am excited to be part of the Leadership Team at Silverwood School, and I am thoroughly looking forward to contributing to the progress and development of the school to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and families in Wiltshire.
