Emma Rossiter
Head of Consultancy and Development
I have worked in education since 2002 and have been part of specialist education since 2005. I am very fortunate that the inspiring colleagues, awesome young people and the qualifications I have gained have equipped me for the challenges and joys of working at Silverwood School.
I have enjoyed a variety of roles in education, including Deputy Headteacher, SENCo, specialist teacher for students with autism, and English Teacher in a comprehensive school. I am passionate about inclusion and enabling all young people to belong, thrive and contribute to an inclusive and ever improving society. Through leading our Silverwood School SEN Support and Training I am honoured to work with a wide range of settings. Our outreach work expands our school’s sphere of influence well beyond our school gates. I am proud to be part of a school founded on universal positive values that guide us to be an inclusive community committed to great education and to making the world a better place.
I have 2 young sons and in our spare time we love finding beautiful spaces to walk, play, run, bike and eat picnics!
