I qualified as a Primary Teacher in 2002. As I worked with children with complex needs in my early career, they taught me more about different ways to see the world and adaptations to education than any of my lecturers ever had! This led to a desire to specialise further. I have worked in a range of schools across the South and have been in a number of leadership positions in Mainstream Primary, and Special School provision. Following a move to Wiltshire in 2010, I worked in a Primary Resource Base whilst completing a Master Level course in ASD and Social Communication Difficulties with Bath Spa University. I then moved to work in Rowdeford School in 2012.
I am passionate about every learner achieving their potential and always have an eye on their future – using their aspirations to direct the learning journey. I have a teenage daughter and in my spare time, you will find me either cycling in South Wales or walking.
