At Silverwood School our focus on emotional health and wellbeing is embedded in everything we do. This has an enormous impact on pupils’ learning, attendance and participation, building their self-esteem and confidence. Mental Health is a standing agenda item during termly pupil progress group meetings and interventions are identified to support the needs of pupils. We have an identified a Senior Mental Health Lead who is member of the Senior Leadership Team, and an Emotional Literacy Support practitioner (ELSA).
